Nurturing Creative Expression & Building Confidence

Our creative arts programme encourages children to explore their artistic talent and develop skills in a supportive environment. At our school, young artists may practise their skills in a wide range of creative sessions, including music, dance, drama and the visual arts. Each class is guided by experienced and dedicated instructors who empower pupils to reach their full artistic potential by offering guidance in how to best utilise modern equipment and techniques, and organising opportunities for learners to perform and exhibit their work.

Dance

At ACG Tauranga we take pride in offering a dynamic dance programme that caters to all levels and abilities. Our commitment to fostering a love for dance and providing exceptional training is reflected in our purpose-built dance room and our experienced dance teacher who brings a wealth of knowledge from the dance world. Throughout the year, students will have the chance to participate in performances, recitals, and showcases, allowing them to share their progress with friends, family, and the wider community. These opportunities not only build performance skills but also instil a sense of pride and accomplishment.

Creative Arts Programme

Art is a vital part of a well-rounded education as it encourages self-expression, a deepened knowledge of culture of history, diversified thinking and a broad perspective. Through our creative arts programme, we help students develop their artistic talent and build skills that they can apply to other areas of their lives.

Yearbook Club

This club meets weekly to work on the school yearbook. Students plan, collate material and proofread content to shape the outcome of the magazine. Club members also write articles, take photographs or explore design and layout options. Participants must be self-motivated, cooperative, responsible and able to communicate effectively.
