To see if ACG Tauranga is the right fit for your child, they can spend a day with us as a student and experience the school first-hand.
A trial day
The decision to change schools is an important one – our ACG Student for a Day™ is the best way for prospective students to experience our welcoming and inclusive environment and see what makes us unique.
During our ACG Student for a Day™, your child will experience our school first-hand, by following a personalised timetable. They’ll spend the day in our classes, mix with our students and learn from our specialist teachers.
ACG Student for a Day™ during Covid-19 "Traffic Light" levels
While Tauranga is under "Red" and "Orange" level traffic light restrictions, our Student for a Day™ programme will not be available.
Instead, during "Red" and "Orange" settings, students from Years 1 to 9 are invited to join us for an afternoon session with key teachers. This provides an excellent opportunity for prospective students to engage with our staff and get a feel for our school.
In addition, students in Years 10 to 13 are invited to meet our Head of Secondary School to discuss what teaching and learning at ACG Tauranga would look like for them.
When we return to "Green" settings, we will once again warmly welcome your child to join us for a full day to discover everything that our school has to offer.
ACG Tauranga takes the health and wellbeing of our students and staff very seriously. Accordingly, our Covid-19 protection framework under the traffic light settings will continue to meet or exceed all Public Health and Ministry of Education regulations and guidelines to ensure your child is in the safest possible environment.
