Francie Murphy


Francie is an experienced and passionate teacher of Music, who has trained and worked in New Zealand and Japan. Since 2009, she has worked as a Music teacher, Dean and private piano teacher in Auckland, before moving to Tauranga and teaching Music at Aquinas College over the past four years. Over her teaching career, Francie has conducted and mentored concert bands, orchestras, chamber groups, bands, soloists and choirs. 

Francie is excited to build the Performing Arts area of ACG Tauranga and give her students every opportunity to reach their full musical potential. She aims to foster a love and enjoyment of music in her students and help them to gain confidence in all aspects and genres of music.

Francie holds a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Music and Art History and a Postgraduate Diploma in Secondary Teaching from Victoria University, Wellington.
