With the incredible growth in dance at ACG Tauranga, the recent Regional DanceNZMade Interschool Competition was the perfect vehicle for our students to showcase their talents.
Sunday 8th August saw our soloists, duo and trio groups compete, with the teams events held the following day. And it was not only dance that was on display, but our students were also outstanding ambassadors for the school, showing team spirit and sportsmanship beyond their years. They certainly did us proud!

Plus, Year 10 students Milla Sharp and Venice Harris each received a golden ticket to attend an audition workshop in Palmerston North during November, with the opportunity to win a $1000 dance tuition scholarship.
Special mention must also be made of our amazing dancers who gave exceptional performances but missed on a podium finish: Cassie Tallon, Nevaeh Naeff, Jeeyoon Ma, Bella Kilmister and our Years 7-8 Hip Hop team.
With such excellent results, it’s definitely shaping up to be another great year for ACG Tauranga’s dance programme.
