Amanda returns to ACG after spending the past 8 years as a Head of Science and Senior Leader at a high achieving school on the outskirts of Manchester in the UK. Prior to this she taught at ACG Strathallan and held the role of Year 10 and 11 Dean. Over the years Amanda has developed an in-depth knowledge and understanding of both the Cambridge and AQA syllabus. She has taught Biology, Physics and Chemistry through to IGCSE level and Biology to A Level.
Amanda has 19 years of experience working alongside students and families, sharing the common goal of achieving academic success whilst developing happy, well rounded, resilient young adults equipped with the skills required to make a positive contribution to society.
Amanda is a passionate teacher of Biology and graduated with a BSc in Biomedical Sciences. She also holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Education from the University of Manchester where she achieved the Withers Memorial Award for outstanding achievement.
